Glassy Comics is designed with a simple principle: your data is yours. The app runs entirely on your device. We do not operate servers, collect personal information, or track your behavior.

What we collect

Glassy Comics does not require an account or sign-in and does not collect personally identifiable information directly.

  • No account creation or sign-in is required.
  • No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking is performed by us.
  • Your comic library, reading progress, bookmarks, and statistics are stored locally on your device and are never shared.

Purchase data

Glassy Comics uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. When you make a purchase, RevenueCat collects your purchase history, which is linked to your identity. This data is used for:

  • App Functionality — to validate receipts, prevent fraud, and unlock the features you have purchased.
  • Analytics — to provide us with aggregated purchase metrics such as revenue and subscription status.

RevenueCat processes this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. No other personal data is shared with RevenueCat.

Information provided by Apple

If you download Glassy Comics from the App Store, Apple may collect and provide us with aggregated, non-identifiable information as part of their standard App Store analytics. This may include:

  • Aggregated download and sales data
  • Crash reports and performance metrics (if you have opted in to share diagnostics with developers via your device settings)
  • Aggregated App Store engagement data (impressions, product page views)

This information is collected and managed by Apple in accordance with their Privacy Policy. None of this data identifies you personally, and we have no way to link it to any individual user.

Local data

All data created by the app (your library, reading positions, bookmarks, statistics, and preferences) is stored on your device only. This data is included in your iCloud or local device backups as managed by iOS, but is never accessed by us.

WiFi Transfer

The WiFi Transfer feature creates a temporary local web server on your device to receive files from other devices on your local network. This connection is direct and local. No data passes through any external server. The server is only active while the transfer screen is open.

Third-party services

Other than RevenueCat (described above), Glassy Comics does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page with the revised date. Given the nature of the app, we do not anticipate material changes. Privacy is a core design decision, not an afterthought.
